Altrincham-based Stephen studied at Mid Cheshire College of Art after which he initially embarked on a career in Advertising & Design but his disenchantment with the industry’s move over to digital processes in the early 80s led him to pursue a more hands-on career in antique porcelain restoration.

 

Having spent four decades honing his considerable skills – still very much in demand by collectors and dealers around the world – recent years and experiences have encouraged him to re-explore his original passion for creating his own unique art.

 

Stephen works predominantly in acrylics with occasional meanders into oils, pencil and applied texture and has chosen Goose Green Gallery, ALtrincham as the first partner to show and sell his works.
